Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. McDonald County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms govern its receipt and handling of the query.
Emails and Other Messages
When you send an email or use an available contact method, we retain the message and contact details needed to respond. We do not share the submission outside the organization unless doing so is required by law or a valid legal process.
Technical Information Collected Automatically
Normal server, analytics, and advertising functions can record technical details when a page loads. Those details may include:
- The internet protocol address used for the visit
- The browser name and version
- The device category and operating system
- The pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- The date and time of the request

Links may lead to the McDonald County sheriff, Missouri corrections, public-record portals, federal locators, and outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy notice and data practices apply. Missouri public-record access through the Sunshine Law request process is handled by the government custodian, not by McDonald County Released Inmates.
Advertising companies may use their own technology to measure visits across websites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs on the advertising partner's systems and is governed by the partner's policies.

We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be processed or disclosed to:
- Search partners that receive queries entered in their tools
